Rock in Rome 2014

Rock in Rome 2014

2014 marks the sixth edition of “Postepay Rock in Rome”, which kicked off once again this year, in the month of June, with a series of concerts that will continue on throughout the whole month of July until the beginning of August.

Rock in Rome 2014 takes place inside the Capannelle Racecourse and is a true musical event with the participation of famous artists from the international and Italian music scene. This year’s list is again rich with prominent artists and groups that make this the Italian rock event par excellence.

Postepay Rock in Roma 2014 includes about 20 concerts and many of them are expected to be sold-out, thanks to the exceptional cast that mixes legendary artists of the world of rock music with artists from the current music scene, artists representing diverse musical genres ranging from heavy metal to techno, from indie alternative rock to electronic rock and from pop to rap.

With the advent of new technologies and the ease with which information can be transmitted, the goal of the event is to promote the meeting of different musical cultures.

Here is the billboard of the event with the concert programme for the next few weeks:

26 June: Rob Zombie + Megadeth

28 June: David Guetta

1 July: Metallica + Alice in Chains + Volbeat + Kvelertak

8 July: The Black Keys

16 July: The Lumineers + Passenger

19 July: Paolo Nutini + The Rainband

21 July: Editors

22 July: Caparezza

24 July: Placebo

26 July: Bastille + George Ezra

28 July: Afterhours

2 August: Franz Ferdinand + The Cribs

Concert tickets can be purchased directly online from the ticketone and postepayfun websites, and also from vivaticket, boxofficelazio, listicket and viagogo, the ticket official marketplace of Postepay Rock in Roma 2014.

This year a shuttle service has been organized, which will allow you to return from the Capannelle Racecourse to the centre of Rome (Rome San Giovanni – Scale Sancta and Rome Termini) at the end of every concert.

We believe that this is an excellent opportunity to combine your passion for art and culture, which you can experience by staying in the centre of Rome and taking advantage of the Groupe Valadier offers, with your passion for music.
